Board of Control for cricket in india
The BCCI Annual General Meeting is the plenary session of the twenty-eight permanent members of the BCCI. The primary agenda of an AGM is to elect the office bearers for the forthcoming year and to constitute the various committees of the Board: essentially, small, focused bodies that serve as the principal instrumentality of policy-making for the Board.
Secondly and more importantly, since it is the only body that offers representation to every single state association, most substantial policy actions are posited, or in other cases, validated during the AGM. We hope that the BCCI—with its complex internal divisions and current challenges—will serve as an engaging forum for both debate and politicking.
Agenda:
- Discussing ideas for the revival of International Test Cricket as well as the Ranji Trophy and allied domestic colt tournaments.
- Deliberating on the proposal to allow the re-entry of Lalit Modi as a member of the Board; a discussion on the charges levelled against the board president himself and other charges pertaining to the match-fixing scandal of 2013.
Executive Board:
Mr. Milind Sharma, Mr. Abhishek Choudhary, Mr. Abhishek Yadav.
